THE O'LEARY FAMILY

The O'Leary Family March '08 at their house
"Jacaranda" in central Phuket

How it all happened...
Bill met Carolyn in 1986

and
they got married

in Thailand and Australia in 1992
- they have 4 kids
and now... they look like

This- sheeesh!

The O'Leary Family at the JW Marriott in 2006

Bill O'Leary met Carolyn Hewitt on Hamilton Island in 1986. He was 25 and she was 19. He drove boats and she managed the helicopter operations to the Great Barrier Reef. They were introduced by Bill's best friend Jimmy Blee and there began the great adventure they still share today.
They married in 1992 and are blessed with 4 amazing children, all born in Bangkok.

Family is the number one priority for the O'Learys. Education, fun at home, adventure holidays and sporting activities are all geared towards raising polite, intelligent, well-balanced young members of society.

Timothy John is the eldest - 15 years old

Tim is a student at New International School (NIST) Bangkok. He's in year 10 doing the IB course. He lives in a fantastic penthouse on Soi 23 with long-time family friends Paul McCloud and Faith Ansell their amazing 8 year old son Caspar. Tim is lucky enough to have 2 families to love him. Paul and Faith's generousity in taking Tim in as part of their family so he can get a decent education is much appreciated.

He hits the golf ball a very very very long way...

Tim is a multi-talented young man who loves music and golf, just like his Mum and Dad. He'd like to make a profession out of Golf one way or another. He currently plays off handicap 8 and it's coming down fast.
He drives the ball further than the family drives for a holiday...

Then there's Bronty Josephine - the eldest girl at 13

She's simply amazing in every way...

She's a fantastic big sister for her two younger sisters, Meg and Mia

She kept looking amazing, so we

sent her away to USA to find her fame and fortune.

Bronty goes to Harvard - Westlake school in LA. She also has a wonderful family who have opened their doors and hearts so Bronty can get a decent education in America. Tony and Jeannie Pritzker are host-parents to Bronty and she's become a part of their incredible family. We thank all the Pritzkers and their staff for their wonderful support of Bronty Josephine.
Bronty is simply amazing.
A cheerful and caring spirit who endears herself to everyone lucky enough to meet her.

Then there's Meg Julia who lives with Mum and Dad, is 9 years old and goes to the British School Phuket

She recently stared in the Musical Cinderella - a legend.
When she's not on stage showing off she's...

On the front cover of fashion magazines... hmmm
What a beauty!

Meg loves to swim, act and model - everyone's best friend at school.
Loves a laugh.
Meg is having tons of fun learning her 7 times tables...

Then last but certainly not least is

Mia Patricia -our 'maxed-out' 5-year-old.

Mia is in charge of the family - she is the most mature 5 year old on the planet.

has been known to get a bit 'snakey'
until she finds

The makeup!

Best summed up as being 'a million miles an hour'! Mia has an insatiable appetite for learning and not being left out of the fun.

All the O'Leary kids on the trampoline at Jacaranda

Oh, yeah - we have lots of dysfunctional Thai street-dogs too!

This is 'Spike' and 'Patchy' ( Spike is our super-retarded dog )

'Bangtao' and 'Sonlarm' are our K-9 psychopaths, but we love them anyways.

The O'Leary's at their old home, 'The Pansea House' where they lived in Phuket for 20 years until moving to their new house "Jacaranda" in 2008.

The entire O'Leary family are grieving the recent ( 26th May ) loss of Yvonne Margaret O'Leary ( Grandma Evie ). Evie was a wonderful mother, mother-in-law and Grandma to our family and we miss her terribly.

One of our fondest memories of Evie feeding birds. She loved animals and kept kangaroos, emus, wild pigs, chickens, geese and dogs when we were kids.

Yvonne and Dr. Tim O'Leary on their wedding Day in 1959.

Together now, resting in peace at the Alambi Gardens Cemetry.

Prayers are asked for the repose of her soul.
